here come all those heavy weights those featherweights you left behind the time comes when you seem to be a bit relieved there's something there and the sun seems to be lookin' away from you and the boy seems to be lookin' away from you So long to those bitter days those mean days that you let shine they're far away now that you can say you have no one to leave and the sun seems to be lookin' away from you and the boy seems to be lookin' away from you The ways you thought about that wanton heart you wanted to keep were never very practical but what really is? and the sun seems to be lookin' away from you and the boy seems to be lookin' away from you

Low Roses (free) 04:05
You've got a magic door a pod of yellow cloth and all the ponies think that you're fast you wonder off and on if this could be true could you maintain your speed on a hill Low Roses, I wish I knew you Lord, I suppose you'd know me too I wish I could stand by the highway I wish I could stand in your yard, my Baby Blue I found the hidden drawer where ya keep the Sickle Star It's deep inside this wooden bar I've got this leafy print I'm not sure where it's from I'll wrap it all around your ear Low Roses, I wish I knew you Lord, I suppose you'd know me too I wish I could stand by the highway I wish I could stand in your yard, my Baby Blue You close the windows in the morning You tell me I should walk right through I wish I could see through the tall glass I wish I could see right through you, my Baby Blue Low Roses, I wish I knew you Lord, I suppose you'd know me too I wish I could stand by the highway I wish I could stand in your yard

When I was a child, I lived in a house made out of wind. All of the eyes came out at night, but I slept throughout. Just another time to ignore. Just another way to build an island. Just another time to ignore all those axes and arrows, axes and arrows. Isn't it strange how we bend these wounds? Lonely and waiting for a home to be built. I I I gather 'round, gather 'round.

Shakey Ride 04:16
I wish I was coming over the ridge all the way to our house bottle in tow, we slip past the ancient guards the sky above us crackles with compromise it's a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride I told you to contact me when you're gone It's either heaven or the ground we spread out our arms over the power lines like a vehicle to another realm it's a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride Lately I've been drawn to the color green helicopters, cobras and your heart Last time we stood on these steps we were afraid I couldn't see you, I just saw you move the gate it's a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride it's a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride a shaky ride

Cherry Tree 03:41
I used to have a cherry tree outside my window I took notes on the changes of its many moods Then worms made a home and we cut off some branches I'm not sure if that tree is still there by the window Marked men were able to pass by the garden Where everyone pretended that the water was glass I never believed it, though I cut myself many times And Reuben could see what the night tried to hide though those petals did their darnedest to push through the ground This too will pass if I let it This too will fly if I wish it to The notes in the journal that I asked you to keep Answered none of my questions; the entries were short You said that a light shot through your body one day and a man from New Jersey gave you an award This too will pass if I let it This too will fly if I wish it to Something was missing from the river that day I couldn't believe that you saw what you said You said that the colors shone through your skin that day and though some of us can see, most are blind This too will pass if I let it This too will fly if I wish it to I went to the garden to see how you were You grow there like plants on an old gravestone do

Destination has to wait. We spend our days just sitting in the heat, untill we shrink, we simplify and wilt. Don't worry, I never said any of this would be true. Brown leaves and dust make walking fun. Fences drift under open skies. Firecrackers in the month of May make me wait, make me wait for you. Destination has to wait. We spend our days just sitting in the heat, untill we shrink, we simplify and wilt. Now the wind is the only one awake. We kiss, but that spell doesn't last. We walk home through the dry cornfields of yellow and green and blue. Destination has to wait. We spend our days just sitting in the heat, untill we shrink, we simplify and wilt.

Woodside 03:44
Houses built side by side- one strong and tall, the other lassoed with vine. We could spend an eternity here till our hair grew long and our shirts grew thin. When we're by the woodside We are whole and we are part of something begun before our time Murals in the basement, jewel weed in the forest. hollow and filled, soothing and cool. Rooms filled with Christmas cheer year 'round and a telephone we don't use When we're by the woodside We are whole and we are part of something begun before our time When we're by the woodside We are whole and we are part of something begun before our time

City Lights 07:11
there's a newspaper sky there's a name that i'd like to be rid of you stare at me never knowing you breathe me into pomegranates and pearls this is how you make me feel my darling this is how you make me feel my dear i come to you with open arms and eyes i come to you seeking advice: will i need you? will i love you till i die? i sat under your window i saw you put that birdcage there theres a touch of color on the inside i know it's not for me i know it never will be this is how you make me feel my darling this is how you make me feel my dear and i come to you with open arms and eyes and i come to you seeking advice: will i need you? will I love you till I die? maybe i'll live and die maybe a hit to the stomach would feel better than this maybe all the pomegranates and pearls will fade away this is how you make me feel my darling this is how you make me feel my dear and i come to you with open arms and eyes and i come to you seeking advice: will i need you? will I love you until I die?

Ursa Ultra 04:07
Last year, I came upon my father. He said, "We'll only eat when the deer says how." He growled into the woods bigger than a bear He growled into the woods bigger than a bear Bigger than a bear Last year I came upon my mother. She said, "We're only seen in moonlight." She growled into the woods bigger than a bear She growled into the woods bigger than a bear Bigger than a bear Last year, I came upon a river and I found I didn't have to swim at all. I waded into the waves bigger than a bear. I waded into the waves bigger than a bear, bigger than a bear. "Nothing can be gleaned from past apparitions..." my parents said. "The reasons that we linger and the royal stains upon our chests. All we can do is glow here like a skull on the sea."

it's too late for summer and too late for coming down the stairs I'm already there Inside the storeroom jars holding everything that I'll need line the walls gather the twisted apples in the yard gather the twisted apples in the yard I'm frightened of the clouds they surround me closely, like you do when we're spending time The breeze blows hot in a rhythm on my skin but the grass is cold, cold cold gather the twisted apples in the yard gather the twisted apples in the yard a "pause that refreshes" and a coping saw we'll use to trim the pipes if the need arrives they're familiar as your sleepy smile or the hole in the sycamore tree near your daddy's barn gather the twisted apples in the yard gather the twisted apples in the yard gather the twisted apples in the yard
